Lousitânea - Serra da Lousã League of Friends is a non-profit association which aims to promote activities for the conservation of nature, the enhancement of cultural heritage (rural, historical, gastronomic and handicraft) and the promotion of educational, sports, tourist and social activities in the region of Serra da Lousã.

The head office is in Aigra Nova, one of the four Aldeias do Xisto in the county of Góis, and it is in these villages that its development projects are focused, such as the Eco-Museum Tradições do Xisto, Entrudo, Alambicada and the corn-shucking festival.
