The next hike in the Twelve Months, Twelve Hikes initiative, a monthly program promoting hiking in Castanheira de Pera, is scheduled for April 6.

Starting at 9:00 AM in the village of Vilar, the Spring Route (Rota da Primavera) invites participants to enjoy the most colorful season of the year on the southern slopes of the Serra da Lousã, offering a true sensory experience where flora and fauna take center stage.

The Spring Route also aims to strengthen the program’s commitment to sustainable environmental education, providing a space for learning and connecting with Castanheira de Pera’s natural beauty in its purest form.
