In the year that Activar – Association for Cooperation of Lousã celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary, the organization will hold a roundtable discussion on "Local Cooperation as the Foundation of Development", echoing the very first event held the year it was founded. The initiative will take place at the Lousã Municipal Theatre on June 10.
It was on June 10, 2000, that the association held its first community event at the auditorium of the Lousã Municipal Library — a forum that invited several guests to speak and reflect on local development.
Now, twenty-five years later, this social solidarity institution will gather around the table various representatives of organizations based in Lousã to discuss local cooperation as a foundational strategy for development.
The program is as follows:
