Cernache do Bonjardim hosts the fourth edition of the River Fish Gastronomic Festival, taking place from May 23 to 25 and May 30 to June 1, across five participating restaurants in the União de Freguesias de Cernache do Bonjardim, Nesperal e Palhais.

The program includes "Meals at the Associations", featuring fried river fish for lunch in Sambado (May 25) and Trízio (June 1), along with cultural activities such as workshops, concerts, guided tours, and other events.

• Grelha 3: River Fish Soup (Sopa de Peixe do Rio)

• Pôr-do-Sol: Fried River Fish with bean rice and River Fish Stew

• Clube Náutico do Zêzere: Fried River Fish with oven-roasted tomato açorda

• Sr. Cozinheiro: Carp tataki with citrus sauce and Pike-perch with cornbread crust, black rice, and a bed of spinach
