This event is promoting the dissemination of local products and crafts, and will have artisans present working and showing visitors how bread is made in a traditional wood-burning oven.
These live handicraft demonstrations, hot broa cornbread and music form the ingredients for a day full of entertainment in the highest of the Aldeias do Xisto. On 31 July, Aigra Velha is hosting an event promoting the dissemination of local products and handicrafts, with artisans present working and showing visitors how to make “broa” cornbread in a traditional wood-burning oven. On such a festive day, there will be no shortage of musical entertainment.

- 10am: Opening of the Knowledge and Flavours Market
- Live craftsmanship
- Broa cornbread Workshop alongside the Alembic and Oven Centre of the Claro Family - 1pm: Characteristic lunch
- Taking the broa cornbread out of the oven and tasting it - 3pm onwards - Local entertainment and dancing
- 6pm: Closing session
