The Municipality of Penela is hosting the second Chanfana Gastronomic Fortnight, from March 7th to 23rd. Seven restaurants are participating in the event:

This initiative, part of the region's tourism and cultural enhancement strategy, aims to highlight one of the region's traditional dishes, chanfana, made with old goat meat and red wine. Integrated into the Cultural Network of Terras da Chanfana and promoted by Dueceira, the event seeks to attract visitors and stimulate the local economy, strengthening the region's gastronomic identity.
